I just arrived in Sun Valley and I'm ready for another amazing season of performing and teaching in beautiful Sun Valley, Idaho. This photo was taken during a gorgeous hike in the valley of the sun. I look forward to many more beautiful hikes this summer!

Boy was I surprised! Gia Guddat and Ashley Clark really wanted to surprise me. The party theme was....CRAIG. Everyone came as different parts of me! Sun Valley Spring Show for the SVFSC. The turnout was amazing. We had to hold the show about twenty minutes just to get all the audience members into the building! I had so much fun skating with all of the kids and also getting the chance to work with them in the winter. All the club volunteers did a fantastic job organizing and helping to make the skaters look great!

My Sun Valley summer is coming to an end in 2 weeks. The kids have already started school so I am having some rest and relaxation finally!

This past Saturday, I had the honor of taking my Gold 'Moves in the Field' with Dan Hollander, Lisa-Marie Allen and Gia Guddat. Our amazing coach was Judy Blumberg so we were well taken care of. It was so much fun working with such great skaters. We all helped and supported each other to improve. I felt an amazing sense of team spirit from just about everyone at the rink. The kids thought it was great that their coaches were working to test and the other coaches supported our efforts too. Wow. As nervous as I was, I am so glad that I went for it and took it! I have not tested since 1991 when I went to Canada to take my Canadian Gold figure and freeskating!

Don't sleep too much, eat lots of pasta, drink lots and lots of Starbucks (I own stock in it) and multitask as much as possible!

Sun Valley is still the place to be in the summer. Not only can you skate on a beautiful outdoor rink (or indoor rink) but you are also able to see and meet many famous professional skaters that grace the ice for an outdoor show every Saturday night from mid-June thru Mid-September. I look forward to my 3 months a year up here all year long. Nothing compares to skating on the outdoor rink. It is absolutely the most breathtaking ice surface that I have ever skated on. Every week we have different guest stars like Elvis, Brian Boitano, Surya Bonaly, Jamie and David, Scott Hamilton...just to name a few. If you have never seen the Sun Valley Ice show, you are in for a treat if you ever make it up here.

Sun Valley summer is finally here! The first 3 weeks up here were cold and wet, but the sun has finally graced us and we are having a great summer. The show is looking good and the audiences have been great. I am back in my routine of eating at Wrap City everyday for lunch and teaching as much as possible during the day. We perform 1 show a week (on Saturday nights) and then a few "extra" shows for special occasions. This place feels like home (at least my 2nd home) so I have many dinners and social events to attend and that keeps me busy at night. During the day, I teach and also work out and skate for myself. I try to get some relaxing time in too, but that proves difficult most of the time.

Work hard and play hard!
